We have put together a list of what our top 5 destinations are doing to ensure you and your family are safe as you travel. All of these amazing stays have reported great success with their COVID-19 protocols. Avoid the crowds and enjoy a new view with the kids!
1. Visit Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina –
George Vanderbilt’s estate is one of the most beautiful gardens we have ever seen. There are such amazing features along the hiking trails that children of all ages will be excited to explore. They now offer a Gardens & Grounds pass to keep families safe by spreading out on the 8,000 acres, through the Conservatory, and enjoying the seasonal beauty.
The Antler Hill Village is another beautiful outdoor space on the property, which connects the past with present. This experience is included in all daytime admissions. The kids will love the barn and farmyard, as well as outdoor climbing spaces, and the Railway event (through Feb. 15).
For those traveling from out of town, we recommend the Cottage. It is a perfect private space to rent for overnight stay for smaller families.
The Biltmore Company has adjusted tours of the inside of the house to meet CDC guidelines by limiting capacity. Tickets require advanced purchase of small groups only. Face coverings are required inside, and cleaning protocols have increased in frequency and are EPA-approved for fighting against the spread of COVID-19. Be sure to bring your credit card because all transactions are cashless to ensure less spread of the virus.
The Biltmore Estate is one of our top recommendations for a new view in 2021!
