Description

Kids Connected is an up-and-coming online marketplace of live classes for kids. We are looking for a Director of Marketing and Public Relations. The ideal candidate will be a B2C marketing expert who can help us grow. This person will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy.

Our target market is parents who are interested in virtual classes and activities for kids. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, we are nationwide for now and will expand globally when the time is right. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build a marketing strategy for an online education marketplace.
  • Execute against that strategy and adjust as necessary.
  • Grow our bookings and subscriber base.
  • Develop marketing content to help recruit teachers.
  • Make Kids Connected a household name.
  • Whatever else comes up – this is a startup!

Requirements

  • Ability and desire to remain flexible, wearing multiple hats in a startup environment.
  • Bachelors’ Degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Work with a sense of urgency demonstrating consistent ability to meet deadlines.
  • Work efficiently both independently and with other team members.
  • Handle multiple tasks and projects with effective time management skills.

 

Ideal Experience

  • Hands on experience building and executing a marketing strategy that includes:
    • Social Media Marketing, Paid and Organic
    • SEO
    • Google AdWords
    • Email Marketing
    • Public Relations
    • Community Outreach
  • Success growing a direct-to-consumer brand user base and revenue.
