  • With a decade of experience as a personal trainer and children's fitness specialist (and 15 years as a classroom teacher before that), Dawn Hollister has a love for exercise AND teaching! She has instructed classes with kids ages 3-13 in a class setting and one-on-one with kids elementary school through high school. Dawn believes exercise is most effective if it is something people want to keep doing, so her children's classes are a mixture of games, skills instruction, and strength and stamina building exercises that are so fun, kids might forget they are exercising. Her passion is to make exercise and an active lifestyle one of your passions!

  • The instructor does a great job of balancing physical challenge with accommodating different learners, all with a warm and welcoming class atmosphere. As a parent, I particularly appreciate how she used specific language to guide learners in moving their bodies for optimal benefit without being overly technical or confusing. Both of my sons enjoyed the class and look forward to future meetings.

  • Mary really enjoyed your class! :) She said you were very good at describing the correct movements for the exercises. The classes she is most interested in all seem to be around the same times/days... but she is hoping to find a time to work with you again.
