Feelings Bingo
Learning Goal: Students will learn
to identify, represent and talk about different emotions through this
interactive and fun game.
Looking for a fun way to learn to talk about your feelings? Then
come play Feelings Bingo!
In this class students will practice identifying and talking
about different feelings while having lots of fun with this interactive game.
We will begin class with a brief introduction of the different feelings that
will be used for the game. As we play, students will also get to share about
different times when they have felt the emotions that come up during the game.
When we play bingo, we are encouraging healthy competition, boosting cognitive
function and improving memory. The students will be encouraged to interact with
one another to build social skills during the game as well.
How the game works:
1. Each student will be given one unique Feelings Bingo card
before class.
2. The teacher will mention each feeling randomly throughout the
game. Students are encouraged to act out each feeling as they are being called
out.
3. Each student will then place a marker on their card for the
word that was drawn.
4. Bingo wins will be celebrated and congratulated as a class!
5. We will play 2-3 games, depending on time.
